Since 2005 We Are Photogirls have been celebrating teen style and creativity by opening up the world
of fashion photography to teenagers.
We run fashion photography projects, we throw fashion shoot events for teen guests and we work
with pint-sized stylists, art directors and photographers, tutoring them in all aspects of fashion
photography. We also explore and expose the beauty myths created by retouching.
Our teenaged Photogirls build giant sets out of old things that they love, they run around in eccentric
outfits hunting for bizarre locations and spend hours comparing scrapbooks stuffed full of storyboard
ideas…
Emily Stein and Celia Willis met at Camberwell College in 1998
whilst studying Art & Design. They set up We Are Photogirls in
2005, to bring the most creative & enjoyable aspects of fashion
photography to young women. We Are Photogirls is now made up
of a wonderful team of creative women, all of whom are experts
in their field.
